Dirty 30 Recap

So, yesterday was my 30th birthday.  I've been excited about turning 30, so my time wasn't spent curled up in a corner wondering where my 20's went.

For those that are wondering, I am back from New York, but I'm unable to go into much detail on recent events, so lets just skip along shall we?  I worked a 12 hour shift at work on my dirty 30, so I didn't REALLY celebrate.  That's what weekends are for right?

Well, my AMAZING husband  decorated (with the help of my SIL Katy) the house, put party hats on everyone, cooked me dinner, had a beautiful cake waiting for me, and had the house clean.  I mean seriously, he is the cheese to my macaroni....which is funny since he's lactose intolerant :)  For my birthday, Matt bought me an array of quilting supplies (i.e. HUGE cutting mat, new rotary cutter aka pizza cutter, thread, thimble, fabric pencils, etc).  Oh how I love that husband of mine :)

Cakes by Billie - you know she's  done a good job when you immediately wanted sushi.

My friend Helra sent these to me yesterday.  It was such a nice surprise :)

My wonderful nephews drew me some art work. It's in
brown because their momma said I was turning
Dirty 30.

My SIL picked me up my favorite bar of soap at Whole Foods
Spearmint, LOVE IT.

Playing a little diddy with his daddy

Even though I only spent just a couple of hours with my men before I had to go to bed, it was all worth it.  They are the best gift a girl could ask for.  With them, I feel I can get through anything.  30's looking pretty good.

Happy Birthday! I turned 30 last year in November. Actually my husband and I both did. We are only 2 days apart :) Love the cake!
