By the way, did I tell you my kid ate his first crayon? Lucky color - BLUE. I was wondering why he was being so quiet. This milestone happened last week.
So, this weekend was the Herbal Affair. Now before you jump to conclusions, no illegal plants of any kind were sold or distributed! Granted, it suggests some sort of pot smokin' convention, but it was quite the opposite my friends. These plants were either 1. Flowers 2. Herbs you would season your food with 3. vegetables or 4. Nice to look at.
Other vendors and the Amish came out and sold delicious goodies. I love seeing the Amish there...I always think, "Wow, there is no way I could live without electronics, makeup, or a flat iron. You guys are tough."
My husband's students also had an Art Show @ the Herbal Affair. It's always nice to see just how pretty these girls are that hang around my husband all day ;) I never feel old until I experience these moments. It makes me want to run out and buy a tub of wrinkle cream.
Some classy photos of my kid @ a local diner. He somehow got all hopped up on mashed pototoes and napkins. Oh and the coozy my friend John so graciously gave him...he chewed on that for most of the day. It doesn't look good when your kid is chewing on something that keeps beer cold. Thanks John.
Sunday, we went over to Grandma's for lunch. Christian got to spend time with his cousins Ash, Kavi, and Rigby.
Goal for this week: Start planning someone's 1st birthday party! It kind of snuck up on me and now I only have a couple of weeks. Mother of the year? Maybe It's- the- Thought -That- Counts Mother.
